Make a Christmas Day Resolution

I'd rather work through the Christmas holidays. Look at it like this: I get paid twice the rate, and when the holidays are over, everything's on at half price - so you could say I'm on four times the rate if I spend this money on all the bargains on offer. I've seen all sorts on half price even from Boxing Day - from plus size lingerie to plasma TVs.
Not only that, but don't you find the holiday season a bit boring after a few days? The same old stuff's on the telly every year, the weather's rubbish, and it all starts to feel a little stale.
So my advice to people is : don't wait for New Year to make your resolution - start on Christmas Day - if you want to go running, go for a run. If you want to quit smoking, do it today!
